The 2023 Scout 305 LXF is a 30-foot center console powered by twin Mercury 300 XXL Verado V8 outboards producing 600 total horsepower. Built from fiberglass with a 24-degree deadrise and 9'9" beam, the boat delivers a smooth offshore ride while maintaining the stability needed for coastal cruising and fishing. With a fuel capacity of 212 gallons and a draft of approximately 22 inches, it balances range and shallow-water capability.
The layout centers on a wide-open cockpit designed for both fishing and entertaining. Standard features include under-gun rod storage, flush-mount gunnel rod holders, port and starboard aft floor fishboxes, a recirculating baitwell, and a fully walk-able swim platform with transom door and boarding gate. A powder-coated T-top hardtop with glass provides shade and weather protection. Below deck, the boat includes a marine electric head, fresh water and raw water washdowns, and a holding tank.
The helm is equipped with Airmar chairs and power-assisted hydraulic steering with joystick piloting capability. Standard electronics include a compass and stereo system. This example includes numerous factory upgrades: dual Garmin 8616 displays, VHF radio, dual engine flush kit, outriggers with 15-foot poles, custom painted engines, painted accent strips, bow rod and cup holders, forward deck shade canvas, and an eight-speaker audio system with 10-inch subwoofer. A 110V air conditioning system with inverter and deluxe cushion package with weather covers round out the accommodations. Bridge clearance is approximately 8'6", and the boat displaces 7,700 pounds without engines.
