2023 SeaVee 420Z

The 2023 SeaVee 420Z is a 42-foot center console powered by quad Mercury 400 V10 Verado engines producing 1,600 total horsepower. The boat features Mercury electric steering with joystick control and autopilot, giving it responsive handling and precise maneuvering. The fiberglass hull is finished in custom medium grey with dive doors on both the port and starboard sides.

The console and layout are built for serious fishing and offshore work. A Key West tuna tower with full controls and kite box sits above the helm, which is outfitted with dual Simrad 19-inch NSO EVO3 multifunction displays, a 16-inch NSO EVO3, Halo 3004 radar, and a 12-inch NSS EVO3 display on the tower. Additional electronics include Simrad sounder and transducers, two ICOM VHF radios, and dual Vessel View 703 multifunction displays. A FLIR MD625 night camera and Marine Guardian 2.0 tracking system are also installed.

Rod storage is extensive, with 41 gunnel-mounted holders plus 2 swivel units, 4 cabin rod holes, and 20 console holders. Seven electrical reel outlets line the gunnels alongside 8 drink holders. The boat includes a custom blue water teak rocket launcher and outrigger bases with 23-foot Marsh Tacky carbon fiber poles. Twin transom livewells feature aquarium windows, and a forward floor well holds dual 3,700-gallon-per-hour pumps with six-outlet manifolds.

Comfort and convenience features include a SeaKeeper 5 gyro stabilizer with lithium batteries, 3,000-watt inverter, and shore power with onboard charger. The console has a custom cabinet with microwave. A bow thruster with second-station control is installed. Lighting includes two Lumitec light bars, compartment lighting, under-gunnel multicolor RGBW strips, and five underwater RGBW lights. The helm has teak ladder-back chairs, and the aft mezzanine includes a custom cooler seat with tackle station. One head is aboard. The engines carry a platinum warranty through June 2030 and have 700 hours of runtime.
