2023 Sportsman Open 242 Center Console

The 2023 Sportsman Open 242 is a 23-foot center console fishing boat built with a solid fiberglass hull and powered by a single 300 hp Yamaha engine. The boat features a hardtop, full-size center console with inner liner, and a 12-inch GPS display. Twin livewells—a 25-gallon unit on the starboard side and a transom livewell—support serious fishing operations, while the bow includes a table with pedestal and removable backrest cushions.

The helm includes a Garmin GPSMAP 1243xsv chartplotter networked to the Yamaha engine controls, along with a Garmin VHF radio and digital Yamaha control box. A Minn Kota 36-volt Riptide trolling motor with Spot Lock handles station-keeping. The leaning post features flip-up bolsters, armrests, and tackle trays. Additional amenities include a head compartment with porta potti, Lexan dashboard, glass spray shield, and a complete cushion package.

The boat includes a custom sport trailer with welded bunks, dual-axle aluminum frame, mag wheels, brakes, and a spare tire. The engine has logged only 92 hours of operation.
