The 2023 Tahoe 185 S is an 18-foot fiberglass runabout powered by a single 150-hp Mercury engine and steered with SeaStar hydraulic steering. The POWERGLIDE hull design incorporates reverse chine and HYDROSTEP strakes for responsive performance and smooth handling. Construction uses hand-laid fiberglass with foam-filled stringers bonded to the hull for strength, while closed-molded interior parts keep weight down.
The open cockpit layout centers on a port-side helm console with a full set of gauges—speedometer, tachometer, fuel, trim, water pressure, and voltmeter—along with a digital depth sounder. A walk-thru tempered glass windshield with aluminum frame protects the helm. The stereo system includes a Jensen unit with Bluetooth and MP3 input through four speakers. Seating runs from adjustable bucket seats at the helm to a bow lounge with molded-in storage beneath, an aft bench with an integrated cooler recess, and a full-width padded sundeck aft.
Storage compartments dot the boat: in-floor wakeboard and ski lockers, port and starboard side lockers, small-item recesses, cockpit side storage, and insulated compartments in the aft bench. The aft deck includes a step-thru transom with fold-down boarding ladder and integrated grab rail on swim platforms. A ski tow pylon receptacle is integrated into the design. Standard equipment includes a 500-GPH auto bilge pump, removable navigation lights, LED courtesy lights, 12V outlets, and an Interstate battery with charger.
The boat comes on a custom-fit single-axle trailer with disc brakes, 15-inch radial tires, a heavy-duty winch, carpeted bunks, and submersible LED lights. The trailer features GALVASHIELD corrosion protection on the powdercoated frame and a space-saving swing-away tongue with fold-away jack.
