The Tidewater 232 SS is a 23-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with a sharp 20-degree deadrise and Carolina bow flare designed to shed spray and deliver a dry ride in rough water. Powered by a single 250 hp Yamaha gasoline engine, it reaches a maximum speed of 45 knots and cruises comfortably at 30 knots. The boat carries 95 gallons of fuel and has a draft of 15 inches.
