The 2023 Vexus AVX189 is an 18.5-foot aluminum bay boat powered by a single 115 hp Mercury engine. Built on a high-performance pad hull with increased deadrise, it delivers a smooth and responsive ride while remaining compact enough to launch, tow, and maneuver with ease. The hull incorporates Vector Force transom construction and Dense Base technology for structural reinforcement.
The forward deck features a factory-rigged Minn Kota Edge trolling motor and an 8-foot center rod box surrounded by spacious storage compartments. Each storage box is fitted with stainless steel compression latches, raised lip dams, and weather seals designed to keep moisture out. The console is fiberglass-infused with a finished lower radius, contour-fitted side panels, and reinforced gear storage alongside an insulated cooler and tournament-grade livewell.
The rear deck centers on a fiberglass well equipped with recirculating aeration, an auto-fill valve, pump-out capability, and an anti-splash ring. Surrounding storage compartments are gel-coated, foam-encased, and structurally integrated rather than relying on thin-walled plastic inserts. Instrumentation includes speed, tachometer, fuel, trim, and water pressure gauges along with sealed, illuminated toggle switches throughout the cockpit.
Additional features include a larger fuel tank, two-tone Hard Case paint, performance-styled seating, upright level foam flotation, sound dampening, and a precision-matched trailer.
