2023 Viking 48 Convertible

The 2023 Viking 48 Convertible is a composite-hull yacht built for both performance and extended cruising. Twin MAN diesel engines deliver 2400 horsepower, propelling the boat to a cruising speed of 30 knots with a maximum speed of 38 knots. The hull design emphasizes seaworthiness, with a raked entry, forward chine, and convex running surfaces engineered to handle head seas and maintain directional stability.

The interior showcases hand-finished teak or walnut joinery throughout. The salon features an L-shaped lounge with cocktail table and a dinette for entertaining, while the galley to starboard includes a raised bar, Cambria countertops, under-counter refrigeration, microwave and convection oven, and maple-lined cabinetry. Three staterooms and two heads provide overnight accommodation, supported by a laundry center and central vacuum system.

The flying bridge hosts a center console helm with flanking lounges and integrates navigation and communication systems. The 124-square-foot cockpit features flush rod holders, a transom fish box, recessed fish and stowage wells, a transom door with lift gate, drink box, bait cooler, and tackle stowage. The lazarette is configured to accommodate a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, installable at the factory or added later.
