The 2023 Wellcraft 242 Fisherman is a 24-foot center console built on a deep-V fiberglass hull designed for offshore performance. Twin Mercury 400 hp engines power the boat, delivering the kind of capability and range serious anglers expect. The hull features a high freeboard and articulated bow flare that combine to give a solid ride in open water. Trim tabs with LED indicators help dial in the running attitude across varying conditions.

The open deck layout prioritizes fishing functionality with multiple rod holder locations: center console, gunnel-mounted storage, transom mounts, and stern positions. Twin sternside baitwells—one with 17-gallon and one with 23-gallon capacity—each include a light and timer for live bait management. A 72-quart cooler sits beneath the leaning post helm seat, and a bow-mounted cooler offers additional storage. Stainless steel grab handles, pull-up cleats, and a retractable stern ladder are positioned throughout the working deck.

The center console includes a head with porta pottie and a changing room forward. Helm seating consists of the leaning post with backrest and integral rod holders.
