2023 Yellowfin 42 Offshore

The 2023 Yellowfin 42 Offshore is a center console powered by quad Mercury 400V10 engines producing 1,600 horsepower. The boat reaches speeds up to 70 knots and cruises comfortably at 50 knots. It features a composite hull finished in Whisper Grey with matching hard top underside, and measures 42 feet in length with a 12-foot beam.

Navigation and electronics are comprehensive, with dual 24-inch Garmin 8624 multifunction displays at the helm, a 12-inch Garmin in the tower, Garmin HD Open Array radar, VHF radio with Garmin ram mic, and Garmin autopilot. The boat includes a marlin tower equipped with full controls and a separate Garmin MFD, along with FLIR thermal imaging for night vision capability. A bow thruster and joystick control enhance maneuverability.

The center console layout accommodates multiple crew and passengers with triple helm seating, double row seating, forward seating with hydraulic backrests, and a custom framing seat on the tower. Entertainment features a substantial JL Audio sound system with multiple speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers. Practical amenities include air conditioning, a generator, a rear pull-out refrigerator, a 1-head bathroom, and a live-well window on the transom. Additional features include a dive door, windlass, carbon fiber outriggers, underwater lighting, multicolor hard top lights, under gunwale lights, Razor light bars, and a transom boarding ladder.

The engines were replaced in February 2025 with only 5 hours of run time and carry 7 years of Mercury warranty coverage.
