2023 Yellowfin 42 Offshore

The 2023 Yellowfin 42 Offshore is a center console built around three Mercury 600 V12 Verado engines producing 1,800 total horsepower. With 545 hours on the engines and Mercury Platinum warranty coverage through 2028, this boat combines serious offshore power with modern efficiency. The hull is fiberglass, measuring 42 feet in length with a 12-foot beam, designed for open-water performance.

Electronics and navigation are comprehensive. Dual Garmin 8624 24-inch displays sit atop a GSD26 sounder, Airmar R509LH 3kW transducer, and Garmin GMR 2524 xHD2 open array radar. VHF communications come via a Garmin 215 with AIS, supplemented by a SiriusXM weather module, card reader, and Starlink. A FLIR M364C thermal imaging camera with JCU-2 control and a GOST tracker round out the suite.

The fishing platform includes new Gemlux 22-foot outriggers, a custom Mariteak rocket launcher, and transomside livewell with window. Four electric reel outlets, titanium rod holders, and fresh and raw water washdowns support serious angling. A bow thruster and electric anchor pull with 300 feet of rope aid positioning and maneuvering.

The boat carries a Mase 4kW generator, new batteries installed in 2026, and ceramic coating applied the same year. Seating spans triple helm positions, a rear-facing leaning post, and tackle storage. Fusion stereo with JL Audio amplification—eight 7.7-inch speakers and four 10-inch subwoofers—handles entertainment.
