The 2023 Z_navisyo VO.8 is a 28-foot houseboat built for extended cruising and comfortable living afloat. It is powered by a Mercury 20 hp gasoline engine with mechanical steering and electric start, supported by a 60 Ah battery. The boat carries comprehensive safety equipment including two 2 kg ABC fire extinguishers and three CO detectors positioned throughout the living areas and cabins.
The interior combines living and work spaces with a convertible office that doubles as a sleeping berth. An expanding bed measuring up to 2000 by 1400 mm provides flexible accommodation, while a drop-down writing table with dedicated lighting serves as a desk. The galley houses a washer/dryer combo, and a 42 gallon fresh water tank with pump supports daily needs. Climate control is managed through an air conditioning system with heat pump function and a dehumidifying system. A 32-inch QLED television with integrated audio system and speakers serves the living room and fly bridge.
The boat includes advanced systems for self-sufficiency and navigation. A solar energy package with four 100 W photovoltaic panels and 9.6 kWh lithium battery bank supports an estimated 48 hours of autonomous operation. A Simrad Cruise-5 chart plotter with 83/200 kHz transducer provides navigation capability, while Wi-Fi smart lock access and a navigation system with US charts are also installed. Exterior features include a folding swim platform with retractable ladder, teak upper deck hatch with pneumatic piston, and sliding glass bathroom screen. Bimini sun covers with aluminum frames and blackout curtains on windows complete the setup. The hull has been finished with epoxy primer and antifouling coating.
