2024 Aquila 42 Yacht

The 2024 Aquila 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built for extended cruising and entertaining. At 41 feet with a 21-foot beam, she offers the stability and spacious layout that define the category. Twin Volvo Penta D4 diesel engines rated at 300 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 16 knots and a maximum speed of 22 knots. The yacht has logged approximately 97 engine hours and carries 266 gallons of fuel, 132 gallons of fresh water, and an 80-gallon holding tank.

The interior arranges three staterooms and three full heads, each with its own shower. The galley features a Bosch convection oven, electric cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, and ample storage. The salon and dining area provide comfortable gathering spaces, while climate control runs throughout. On deck, the hardtop-covered flybridge includes a polycarbonate weather enclosure, and the cockpit offers a shower, seating, and table. Foredeck sun pads and a swim ladder with teak treads complete the outdoor layout.

Mechanical systems include a Kohler 9.5 kilowatt generator, ElectroSea electric strainer, PropSpeed-coated running gear, and hydraulic steering. Navigation and control are handled by Raymarine Axiom multifunction displays at both upper and lower helms, with integrated GPS, radar, depth sounder, and autopilot. A DockMate wireless remote docking system aids maneuvering. The boat carries Starlink satellite WiFi, engine and house batteries with management system, and shore power connection.

Recent service includes new bottom paint, transmission and engine service at 100 hours, generator servicing, and new anodes. A 2025 Highfield 340 tender with 25-horsepower Yamaha outboard and deck-mounted chocks is included, along with deck-mounted boarding stairs positioned at both port and starboard.
