The Aquila 44 is a fiberglass power catamaran built to combine stability and living space with the efficiency of twin diesel engines. Two Volvo Penta D4-320hp engines deliver 640 horsepower total, with 333 engine hours on the record. The hull design spans 44 feet in length with a 21.5-foot beam, creating the wide platform that defines the model's approach to comfort and seaworthiness.
The layout centers on a full-beam master stateroom forward, paired with two additional cabins and three heads throughout. The main saloon opens to 360-degree views and flows naturally into exterior spaces: a flybridge with helm station and guest seating above, and an aft cockpit with sunshade system below. The boat carries a Raymarine i70s multifunction display for navigation, a Raymarine 63 VHF radio, and a bow thruster in the starboard hull for maneuvering.
Accommodation systems include a 11kW Kohler diesel generator (515 hours), a 94-liter-per-hour water maker, a washer/dryer combo in the forward master, and chilled water air conditioning. The galley benefits from an additional 65-liter refrigerator/freezer in the saloon. Exterior amenities range from an electric barbecue and stainless steel ice maker at the flybridge wetbar to underwater blue lighting aft and a fresh water deck wash pump. Solar panels (2 × 100W) and a reserve fuel tank of 95 gallons support extended cruising. A Lexan windscreen enclosure and dinghy davit crane complete the equipment package.
