2024 Azimut Fly 53

The 2024 Azimut Fly 53 is a flybridge yacht built around the "Gen 2" design philosophy—emphasizing interior volume and visual connection to the water. The hull is fiberglass with twin Volvo Penta IPS 950 diesel engines producing 1,450 horsepower total. The boat reaches a top speed of 31 knots and cruises efficiently at 26 knots, achieving a range of 260–280 nautical miles with a notably flat fuel curve that delivers nearly identical range at 15 knots or fast cruise. The Seakeeper 9 Gyro Stabilizer reduces roll at anchor and underway. Both helm stations carry Garmin 8616 chart plotters, radar, autopilot integration, and the Volvo Penta Assisted Docking System, which automatically compensates for wind and current during maneuvering.

The flybridge features an integrated retractable sunroof and hardtop, a wet bar with Kenyon BBQ grill and refrigerator, oversized U-shaped seating around a dining table, and a forward sun pad with adjustable backrests positioned behind a tinted windscreen. The aft galley flows into the cockpit through triple sliding glass doors that disappear flush. It includes a full-size upright refrigerator/freezer, Miele induction cooktop, and Miele convection oven/microwave. The main salon showcases panoramic full-height windows with minimal mullions, a C-shaped port sofa and two-seat starboard sofa in Italian fabrics, a motorized lift television system, and a 60,000 BTU Dometic air-conditioning unit with LED dimmer lighting throughout.

Below deck, the three-cabin layout includes a full-beam master amidship with panoramic hull windows and rainfall shower en-suite, a VIP cabin forward with island queen bed, and a twin cabin. The second head serves as a day head. The aft cockpit features a secondary joystick docking station, shaded bench seating with dining table, and a hydraulic swim platform. Transom access leads to storage with full air conditioning, a private head, and sink—capable of serving as crew quarters.

The hull recently received fresh bottom paint and completed Volvo Penta annual service. High-performance heat-reducing window film has been applied to the salon windows. Extended warranty coverage on both the Volvo Penta engines and Seakeeper system runs through September 2029.
