The 2024 Bavaria Cruiser 46 is a modern sailing yacht that refines the performance and design of Bavaria's C-line. Built in fiberglass with a 46-foot hull and 15-foot beam, it combines excellent seakeeping characteristics with considered proportions and comfortable living spaces. A single 80-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine provides auxiliary power, with a cruising speed of 7 knots.
The interior is arranged with three double cabins and three heads, creating flexible accommodation for cruising. The galley faces a spacious dinette and is fully equipped with a large U-shaped layout: two large refrigerated drawers, a cabinet fridge, a six-place dishwasher, oven, and gas burners. Bright wood joinery throughout maintains a light aesthetic, and headroom is generous in all areas.
The cockpit features synthetic teak decking and an electrically operated swim platform. Cushioned seating with backrests and sun pads runs along the helm stations, which are outfitted below with a barbecue and external refrigerator. Two folding tables convert into additional lounging space, and removable seats sit forward on the pulpit. B&G instrumentation is mounted at both helm positions, and white composite steering wheels add a refined touch.
The sail plan includes dacron sails with a battened, furling main, a Selden-equipped gennaker, and a battened self-tacking jib. Six deck winches—two electric—handle sail trim efficiently.
