2024 Caymas 281 HB

The 2024 Caymas 281 HB is a 28-foot composite sportfish designed for serious fishing and cruising. Powered by a single Mercury 400 Verado V-10 engine, it delivers performance built around both capability and comfort. The hull features Rock Grey sides with a coordinating 2-tone fiberglass hardtop and black powder coating, paired with a 3-sided isinglass windshield for weather protection.

The boat is heavily equipped for fishing. A Bob's hydraulic jackplate with 4-inch exchange and gauge supports engine trim and shallow-water operation. Dual blade 10-foot power poles flank the boat in black, while a port aerated baitwell and multiple stainless steel flush-mount rod holders—including upgraded Gemlux rod and cup holder packages at the bow—provide working spaces. A Garmin Force Kraken trolling motor with 72-inch shaft and 36-volt battery system, along with its quick-release mount and Minn Kota charger, enables precision positioning.

Electronics center on a full Garmin suite: a 743 display at the upper helm, two GPSMAP 8616xsv console screens, Garmin 315 VHF radio, side imaging, and weather capability. A custom second station with its own binnacle, tilt steering, engine gauges, and switch panel allows dual-helm operation, with space reserved for an optional 7-inch MFD. JL Audio systems include a MM100 head unit, four 6.5-inch and four 8.8-inch speakers, two amplifiers, plus underwater and Lumitec Razor lighting.

The helm features a black Edson Special Ops steering wheel and includes a removable bow table with cup holders, leaning post organizer, cooler with custom slider, and premium cooler. A freshwater system with shower head, white upholstery with grey accents, grey Surf Turf mats, motorized battery switches with 2-bank charger and voltage display, and Coast Guard safety kit complete the package. The Mercury engine carries a 5-year warranty.
