The 2024 Composite Yacht CY 42 is a 42-foot fiberglass cruiser built on the Markley hull design, combining offshore capability with cabin comfort. Powered by three Suzuki DF350A outboards delivering 1,050 total horsepower, the boat runs on gasoline and has just 43 engine hours with a completed 20-hour service. The enclosed pilothouse provides protected helm seating with excellent visibility, a departure from traditional center console layouts and suited for varied weather conditions.
The electronics suite is comprehensive, featuring dual Furuno TZT XL 16-inch displays with navigation, Furuno radar and NavPilot 300 autopilot, VHF radio, Fusion Marine stereo, and a Sionyx Nightwave night vision camera. The helm station includes a rear aft control position with dedicated electronics. The hull carries an Awlgrip paint finish in excellent condition and is equipped with a hardtop, swim platform with ladder, trim tabs, and extensive underwater and under-gunnel lighting.
Accommodations include one cabin sleeping three, one head, and a galley with sink and refrigerator/freezer. Interior seating spans aft port and starboard settees, helm seating, and a port double seat. Storage is distributed throughout the boat. The CY 42 is designed with fishing in mind and includes an insulated fish box, live well, rod locker, rocket launcher, and rub rails. Tankage provides 350 gallons of fuel, 80 gallons of fresh water, and a 50-gallon waste tank.
The boat is maintained on a lift, avoiding prolonged water exposure. A windlass anchor system, life jackets, and fire extinguishers are onboard.
