The 2024 Contender 44 ST is a 44-foot sportfish built on a fiberglass hull and powered by four Mercury outboards totaling 1,600 horsepower. The boat reaches a top speed of 58 knots and cruises at 41 knots. A 12-foot beam provides stability and interior volume, while the hull is designed for both offshore capability and fuel efficiency with 600 gallons of capacity.
The boat features an extensive electronics package with Garmin displays, dual VHF radios, Mercury joystick piloting with integrated autopilot, and Starlink connectivity. A custom tower by Custom Pipe Designs incorporates fiberglass kite and spreader light storage boxes, speaker enclosures, and hard tops with whisker gray paint. The tower console includes two electric outlets for teaser reels. Additional systems include a Seakeeper 3 gyro, full JL Audio and Fusion sound system, and an infrared/night vision camera.
Interior accommodations center on the helm area with two-row stadium seating, a custom switch panel, and teak detailing. An electric head and 70 gallons of water tankage are included.
