2024 Excess 14

The Excess 14 is a 45-foot catamaran built in fiberglass with twin 114-horsepower diesel engines. Its design reflects a distinctive approach to cruising, combining sleek lines with an unconventional layout that departs from traditional catamaran conventions. The boat delivers the performance and comfort expected of a cruising yacht while maintaining an engaging, responsive character.

Accommodation spans six cabins and five heads, allowing flexible sleeping and sanitary arrangements for families or charter groups. The saloon and cabin areas are fitted with air conditioning, electric fans, and natural ventilation via bimini top and sprayhood. Power comes from a generator and solar panels, with freshwater supplied by an onboard water maker. The galley is fully equipped with cooking appliances, cookware, utensils, and dining provisions.

Deck systems include electric winches for sail handling. Navigation equipment covers charts, compass, binoculars, and pilot books for the Adriatic region. Safety gear is comprehensive: liferaft, life jackets for adults and children, safety harnesses, distress flares and mirror, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, and emergency tiller. Engine spares, a sail repair kit, tools, and manuals are aboard to support independent cruising.
