2024 Fountain 38 SCX

The 2024 Fountain 38 SCX is a high-performance center console built on Fountain's Positive Lift double-step hull with pad keel and notch transom design. Powered by triple Mercury 400R outboards with approximately 290 hours, the boat delivers offshore speed and rough-water handling. The hull uses high-density composite stringer grid, fiberglass-reinforced transom, and bonded through-bolted construction across its three-piece assembly of hull, liner, and deck. A self-bailing anti-skid cockpit, Mercury electric and hydraulic steering with K-Plane trim tabs, and 418-gallon fuel capacity support extended offshore operation.

The helm features dual Garmin GPSMAP 8616 16-inch displays, Garmin 50W Fantom radar, Garmin 315 AIS VHF radio, and Mercury VesselView 903 monitoring. A full-height glass windshield with carbon fiber helm panel and stainless wheel provide visibility and control. Below deck, the boat includes a ceramic marine head, freshwater and raw-water systems with washdowns, and a transom shower.

The cockpit combines fishing and entertaining functionality with twin pressurized aft livewells, seven insulated fish and storage boxes, nine rocket launcher rod holders, eight gunwale rod holders with cupholders, and extensive additional rod storage. Overboard diaphragm discharge pumps, freshwater sink, and a slide-in swim ladder complete the fishing features. A starboard transom door provides access.

Seating spans an upholstered aft-facing lounge, forward console lounge with articulating armrests, and full helm seating with flip-up bolsters. A fiberglass hardtop with overhead storage and custom welded aluminum T-top frame overhead. Entertainment includes a Fusion RA770 touchscreen system, JL Audio Class D amplifiers, RGB JL Audio speakers and subwoofers, Lumitec Sea Blaze RGB underwater lighting, and a 10,000-lumen T-top light bar. Under-seat storage is integrated throughout. A trailer may be available.
