2024 Fountaine Pajot Aura 51 Catamaran

The 2024 Fountaine Pajot Aura 51 is a 51-foot fiberglass catamaran built with electric propulsion at its core. Powered by twin 25kW electric motors and the ODSea+ hybrid system, the yacht generates energy through 2000 watts of integrated solar panels, dual hydro-generators, and a 32kW generator. Two 32kWh lithium battery banks store power for extended cruising without refueling, supported by dual 3kW chargers and multiple inverters for onboard electrical management. The design allows single-handed operation while delivering silent, emission-free performance.

The four-cabin Super Maestro layout accommodates comfortable cruising with four heads, all equipped with electric fresh water systems. The interior features courtesy LED lighting throughout, a saloon with integrated TV and audio systems, and galley amenities including an induction cooktop, dishwasher, and 90-liter freezer. Climate control comes from a 75,000 BTU air conditioning system, while hot water is supplied by a 110V water heater and deck shower.

The yacht comes fully outfitted with factory and custom options spanning navigation, sail handling, and seaworthiness. Navigation includes triple Garmin smart systems with autopilot, dual VHF with AIS, radar, and GPS units. Sail equipment encompasses a PROFURL genoa furler, electric winches for mainsail and genoa, lazy bag system, and offshore sail package including a Northsails Tradewind code sail and gennaker gear. Deck features include a hard-top bimini with aft sunscreen, helm enclosure, and comprehensive platform with protective transoms.

Additional features encompass a water maker, washer and dryer, six-person life raft, Starlink connectivity, tender with Zero Jet propulsion, and extensive safety systems including lightning protection and carbon monoxide detectors. The yacht carries premium rigging and an ultra-marine anchor with 100 meters of chain, configured for long-range offshore voyaging.
