The 2024 Freeman 38 is a 37-foot center console built in fiberglass with a beam of 11.5 feet. It comes powered by four Yamaha 300-horsepower engines and is equipped with a triple-axle Myco trailer. The boat features an open layout designed for fishing and recreational cruising, with ample deck space and practical sight lines throughout.
Navigation and electronics are comprehensive. Dual Simrad 19-inch GPS and depth finder units work alongside Simrad autopilot and open array radar. A FLIR night vision camera, dual VHF radios with E-Rigger antennas, and Simrad SiriusXM satellite weather and radio round out the command center. An over-the-top JL audio system is installed.
The fishing setup is extensive. The boat includes a transom livewell and dual floor livewells, six electric reel plugs, and six swivel rod holders. A teak rocket launcher carries outriggers and bases, with center rigger base and upper and lower rear leg rod holders. Transom and coffin box rod racks provide additional storage. A coffin box lounger with dual rod racks and rear-facing seating offer comfort and functionality. Coaming bolsters run the full length of the boat.
Additional features include Zipwake trim tabs, a light bar with LED spreader lights and downlights, LED under gunwale and underwater lighting, fresh and raw water washdown systems, and a three-sided poly enclosure with spray wings for weather protection. The engines carry an extended warranty through November 2031 with 367 hours on them.
