The 2024 Freeman 43 is a purpose-built sportfish powered by quad Mercury V10 400-horsepower engines. The fiberglass hull measures 43 feet in length with a 12-foot-3-inch beam, offering a stable platform for serious fishing and cruising. The engines carry approximately 573 hours and are paired with Mercury Vessel View monitoring and electric steering.
Navigation and fish-finding electronics are comprehensive. The boat features dual Simrad EVO24 multifunction displays, a 6-foot open array radar, and a Simrad S5100 sounder module with 3D structure scan capability. SiriusXM weather integration, dual Icom M510 VHF radios, and Simrad autopilot round out the bridge systems. FLIR thermal imaging and a 50-inch LED light bar support low-light operation.
The fishing layout includes 23-foot Marsh Tacky outriggers with an MTC center rigger, dual Rhodan trolling motors, and tuna tubes. Rod storage is provided by a teak rocket launcher. The helm features dual row seating, a deluxe leaning post with a rear-facing seat housing a Simrad NSS12 display, and Helm SHOXS pedestals. A port-side dive door provides easy water access, and a saltwater washdown system supports deck operations.
