The Greenline 48 Fly is a 48-foot diesel-electric hybrid motor yacht built with fiberglass and powered by two Yanmar hybrid engines delivering 740 horsepower. The design centers on efficient hybrid propulsion—the yacht can cruise silently on electric power or shift to diesel engines for speeds up to 22 knots, with lithium battery banks that recharge in approximately 1.5 hours. Integrated solar panels on the roof provide sustained power for onboard systems, reducing reliance on generators during anchorages. Construction uses advanced resin infusion molding to create strong, lightweight fiberglass components.
The interior arranges three staterooms across a well-planned layout. The master stateroom features a forward island queen berth, while two guest cabins offer side-by-side berths with hull windows. Three heads include two with separate stall showers. The open-plan salon connects to a galley equipped with induction cooktop, conventional oven, and microwave. A washer-dryer provides onboard laundry capability.
The flybridge spans generous proportions with seating for eight, a bimini top, electric grill, stainless steel refrigerator, sink, and icemaker. Navigation relies on dual Simrad systems with 16-inch multifunction displays at both helms, supported by autopilot, 4-kilowatt broadband radar with Class B AIS, VHF transceiver, searchlight, and air horn. Entertainment includes pop-up televisions in the salon and master cabin with speakers throughout.
Electrical systems use Victron inverters, Cerbo GX controllers, and dedicated battery and photovoltaic chargers. Two 330-watt solar panels come standard, with an optional solar hardtop accommodating four additional panels available. A trim tab aids hull control. Cruising speed reaches 7 knots on electric power alone.
