2024 Helmsman Trawlers 38E Pilothouse

The 2024 Helmsman Trawlers 38E is a fiberglass pilothouse trawler designed for extended cruising in challenging waters. Built on a solid 38-foot hull with a 13-foot-11-inch beam, this boat is powered by a Cummins QSB6.7 diesel engine producing 250 horsepower, with approximately 940 hours on the engine. Bow and stern thrusters simplify maneuvering in tight spaces, and the boat is equipped with dual helms—one in the pilothouse and one on the flybridge—both outfitted with Garmin multifunction displays and autopilot.

The accommodation spaces feature a well-appointed galley with a 1.5-basin stainless steel sink and Caesarstone countertops, a refrigerator and freezer combination, a propane range, and a microwave. A Webasto diesel hydronic heating system provides warmth, while a 17-gallon water heater and Blue Water Desalination water maker support extended voyages.
