This 62-foot performance cruiser was launched in April 2024 and represents a collaboration between Surge Projects designer Javier Jaudenes and German builder Knierim Yachtbau. Built from carbon fiber with a carbon superstructure and deck, she combines racing capability with cruising comfort through a lifting keel system (2.65 to 4.2 meters), twin rudders, and a Marström backstayless carbon mast. The sail plan spans 520 square meters downwind, 365 square meters reaching, and 244 square meters upwind, with Reckmann furlers and structured luff sails for precise trim. A 110 hp Yanmar engine with Saildrive powers the boat, supported by lithium-ion batteries, watermaker, and advanced power management via CZone control.
The interior, designed by Käfer, centers on a spacious saloon with wraparound seating and 360-degree visibility through superstructure windows. Forward sits a master cabin with a 160-centimeter double berth, ensuite head with separate shower, and abundant storage. Two generously proportioned aft cabins each contain convertible double berths and full standing headroom. A day head with foul-weather storage serves the saloon area.
The galley is U-shaped with gas cooking, double sink, premium appliances, dual drawer refrigeration, top-loading freezer, and wine storage for twelve bottles. Every cabin features climate control and Corian finishes throughout. Additional systems include B&G navigation electronics, electric winches, hydraulic sail tension control, a hydraulic transom door with dinghy garage, and CE Category A Ocean certification. The boat has only delivery miles since launch.
