2024 Lagoon 42

This 2024 Lagoon 42 is a fiberglass catamaran designed for extended offshore cruising. She measures 42 feet in length with a 25-foot beam, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines producing 114 horsepower combined. The Owner's Version layout includes three cabins and three heads, arranged with a spacious master suite featuring a private head and shower, plus two guest cabins each with ensuite facilities. The salon is bright and open with 360-degree visibility, complemented by a galley with ample counter and storage space. Air conditioning is integrated throughout the interior with reverse-cycle units, and LED lighting updates the cabin spaces.

The deck is outfitted for efficient sailing and comfortable cruising. A hardtop bimini with full cockpit enclosure protects the helm and outdoor spaces, with upholstered seating and a cockpit refrigerator. The sail plan comprises a furling genoa and square-top mainsail, managed by two electric winches and self-tailing systems. A custom sunshade system and canvas covers are included, along with folding propellers for easy maneuvering.

Systems for independent cruising are comprehensive. A Raymarine electronics suite handles navigation with chartplotter, radar, AIS, and autopilot with remote control. Starlink satellite internet provides global connectivity. Power comes from an upgraded solar array paired with a lithium battery bank, supported by an inverter-charger and shore power capability. A high-output watermaker installed in 2024 ensures fresh water independence. Standard plumbing includes electric heads, a hot water heater, and freshwater washdown. A Highfield CL310 dinghy with Honda 20-horsepower outboard is included, along with current safety gear.
