2024 Leopard 45

The 2024 Leopard 45 is a 45-foot fiberglass catamaran built around an electric propulsion system featuring two 25kW motors paired with two 27kW lithium battery banks. Power flexibility comes from a 24kW range-extending generator and a 2kW solar panel array for supplementary charging. The twin-hull design delivers a maximum speed of 8 knots and a cruising speed of 6 knots, making it well-suited for extended coastal passages without fuel concerns.

The boat is laid out as an owners' version with three cabins and four heads, providing comfortable accommodation for families or groups. The helm station sits raised and sheltered beneath a hardtop bimini, with direct cockpit access and winches positioned for easy reach. Primary winches are electric and controlled by foot switches, reducing physical effort during sail handling. The design balances practicality with modern aesthetics across the deck and interior spaces.
