2024 Marex 310 Sun Cruiser

The 2024 Marex 310 Sun Cruiser is a 31-foot family sports cruiser built in fiberglass with an RCD category B offshore rating. Twin Mercury 270 hp diesel engines deliver capable performance while maintaining fuel efficiency. The boat is equipped with a Zipwake dynamic trim control system, bow thruster, joystick docking with Axius Premium control, and a Simrad NSS12 evo3S chart plotter integrated with engine and autopilot systems. An electric windlass with 30 meters of stainless steel chain, chain counter, and remote control rounds out the main propulsion systems. Engine hours stand at 80 as of October 2024.

The layout centers on a spacious U-shaped saloon upholstered in marine Alcantara, open to the helm and cockpit via a large companionway hatch. Two cabins sleep four adults plus two additional berths, each with opening portholes fitted with mosquito nets. A day head features a generous shower compartment with mixer tap and curtain. The galley includes a gas cooker, 140-liter top-stowing refrigerator, and a chopping board insert for the sink.

The boat features a quick-deploy canopy system and opening sunroof that can be fully enclosed or opened rapidly. A 40-liter hot water boiler, electric toilet, and self-draining floor with manual pump are fitted. On deck, the foredeck carries a sun mattress, and the bathing platform is finished in teak. Navigation includes a Simrad RS40 VHF with DSC and AIS-RX reception. Power comes from three deep-discharge lead-acid batteries plus starters for each engine, with a 30-amp charger and 25-meter shore power cable. Fenders and mooring equipment are included.
