2024 MasterCraft XStar S

The 2024 MasterCraft XSTAR S is the flagship 23-foot V-drive surf and wake boat in MasterCraft's modern lineup. Built on a fiberglass hull measuring 23 feet long with an 8-foot beam, it weighs approximately 5,800 pounds dry and carries 76 gallons of fuel. Power comes from an Ilmor 6.2L GDI V-Drive inboard engine producing around 430 horsepower, paired with a V-drive transmission that positions the propeller aft for the wake geometry preferred by modern wakeboarders and wakesurfers.

The boat is equipped with MasterCraft's SurfStar System for asymmetrical wave shaping and a Quad Hard Tank integrated ballast system with 4,500 pounds of capacity. The Z8 wakeboard tower represents an upgrade from the standard specification and carries power-actuated board racks that deploy and stow automatically. A stern thruster provides precision low-speed maneuvering through transom-mounted lateral thrust independent of main propulsion. Tower audio consists of four JL Audio S85 Black Cans speakers providing coverage to the wake zone.

The interior is arranged for family-focused watersports use, with wide-open bow seating, a midship helm and companion station, and observer seating at the transom. The helm features touchscreen controls for the SurfStar system, a three-spoke billet steering wheel, and a MasterView driver's seat bolster. A teak wood platform with folding brackets and a self-draining fiberglass transom walk-through complete the cockpit layout. Standard equipment includes an attitude adjustment plate, tracking fin, and the V3 Pro Wake Propeller.

This specific example was optioned with a Comfort and Convenience Package, premium cabin upgrades including seat heaters, RGB accent lighting throughout, wireless charging pads, a cabin heater, underwater lighting, docking lights, and a color-matched black mica fiberglass swim platform. The exterior features a Coastal Blue Flake and Black Mica Flake multi-zone finish with a Midnite Black hull bottom. Interior upholstery uses a tri-tone Coolfeel configuration in Stealth Gray, Jet Black, and Coastal Blue. An optional tandem-axle trailer is available.
