The 2024 NEEL 43 is a high-performance trimaran built in composite, measuring 43 feet in length with a 24-foot beam. It comes equipped with the Performance package, featuring carbon bulkheads, a carbon mast, and Dynema standing rigging. The sail plan is comprehensive and modern: a 61 m² gaff mainsail, 43 m² genoa, 18 m² jib, plus a 101 m² gennaker and 150 m² asymmetrical spinnaker, all in DCX material. Deck hardware includes three Karver 46 winches, an electric winch, a Karver genoa furler, and a Karver jib stowage system with Dynema running rigging. The steering is a carbon wheel system, and a bow thruster with dedicated battery and charger provides additional maneuvering control.
Below deck, the boat offers three double cabins and one bathroom. The galley includes a two-burner stove with oven, a 130-liter refrigerator, and a water heater. A hot deck shower and on-deck cushions are fitted. The helm features a carbon wheel with an electric autopilot and wireless remote control, plus a 12-inch chartplotter at the steering station and a 16-inch screen at the chart table.
Power comes from a single 50 hp Volvo diesel engine with a three-blade folding propeller and approximately 350 hours of operation. The electrical system is substantial: 495 Ah AGM service batteries, a 50 Ah Optima engine battery, a 2000 W inverter, an 80 A service charger, and 312 W solar panels. Navigation and communication equipment includes a full Garmin electronics suite, VHF radio, and AIS transceiver. Additional features include LED lighting throughout, electric windlass with 60 meters of chain, survival raft for six persons, and complete safety equipment.
