The Northstar Axis 4.2 is a compact rigid inflatable built around simplicity and practicality. At 13.94 feet long with a beam of 6.43 feet, it combines a fiberglass hull with heavy-duty Hypalon tubes fitted with pressure relief valves. The delta-lift hull design delivers easy planing and a stable, dry ride. A 50hp Honda outboard provides responsive power while remaining economical to operate.
The boat features a self-draining deck system that allows it to be left afloat without concern for water accumulation or battery drain. The layout prioritizes family use, with an ergonomic helm console, a secondary helm-side seat that doubles as a step, and a sunpad conversion at the bow. Storage is generous throughout for gear and supplies. Brown EVA faux teak decking provides both style and low-maintenance practicality.
Standard equipment includes a pop-up ski tow pylon and swimming ladder for water activities, hydraulic steering, a fuel system with integrated tank and gauge, LED navigation lights, an all-round light, and a bilge pump. Additional fitted features include a Simrad chart-plotter and fish-finder, handheld VHF radio, an anchor with chain and line, custom lightweight on-water cover, and USB charging ports. Antifouling has been applied to the hull.
