2024 Northstar Orion 8

The 2024 Northstar Orion 8 is a 26-foot composite RIB designed as a luxury cruising tender and dayboat. Rated for up to 350 horsepower, it combines the Evo-2 Stepped Hull design for stability and high-speed capability with Northstar's minimalist aesthetic. Built as a Class B offshore RIB, it suits both tending duties and independent day cruising.

The single-engine layout supports a practical accommodations package. The boat features Silvertex marine upholstery, twin flip-up seating, a tempered glass windshield, and a swim platform with stainless steel ladder. The console and aft seat come with grab handles, and a telescopic cleat system aids handling.

Storage and convenience features include large compartments, an acrylic glove box with USB charging, a foldable table, and a 36-liter Igloo cooler. The electrical system runs navigation and basic lighting. Hypalon tubes form the sponsons, while a hydraulic steering system manages directional control. Automatic bilge pumps and a single head round out the equipped package.
