2024 Northstar Orion 8

The 2024 Northstar Orion 8 is a 26-foot rigid-hull inflatable designed as a luxury cruising tender and dayboat. Its Evo-2 Stepped Hull provides stability and strength with high-speed capability, rated for up to 350 horsepower. The composite construction and Hypalon tubes support the Class B, offshore rating.

The open layout suits tender and day-use roles. Standard equipment includes Silvertex marine upholstery, twin flip-up seats, a foldable table, and a 36-liter Igloo cooler. A tempered glass windshield and hydraulic steering system are fitted, along with a swim platform and stainless steel swim ladder. Storage is provided by large compartments and an acrylic glove box with USB charging.

Essential systems and safety features come standard: automatic bilge pumps, navigation lights, basic electrical lighting, and a full stainless steel console with aft seat grab handles. Telescopic cleats complete the package, reflecting Northstar's minimalist design approach in a mid-range cruising RIB.
