2024 Ranger Tugs R-25

This 2024 Ranger Tug R-25 is a 25-foot fiberglass cruiser finished in Claret red with a Northwest Edition package. Built on a solid vinyl ester resin hull with foam-filled stringers and Divinycell deck coring, the boat combines light weight with structural rigidity. Power comes from a 250 hp Yamaha outboard backed by factory warranty, delivering a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed of 37 knots. A bow thruster aids docking and low-speed maneuvering.

The cabin layout centers on a comfortable salon with a curved windshield and overhead glass atrium providing 360-degree sightlines and natural ventilation through opening hatches and portlights. The galley sits well-equipped with an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and stainless steel sink. A roomy V-berth with custom bedding and an adjacent quarter berth complete the sleeping quarters. The enclosed head features an electric marine toilet, shower, sink, and mirror. Forced-air diesel heating keeps the interior warm, and a hot water heater serves the galley and head. Four AGM batteries with a 175-watt solar panel and charger/inverter support extended cruising off-grid.

Electronics include a 12-inch Garmin GPS chart plotter with sonar and xHD radar, autopilot with remote control, DSC-capable VHF radio, and full-color engine display. The helm features single-lever electronic shift and throttle control. Navigation aids comprise a 16-pound Lemar anchor, 50 feet of chain, and 200 feet of rode.

The spacious cockpit seats five and includes a sink, table, and drink holders, with rod holders and downrigger pads for fishing. A swim platform with clear-path design offers boarding and water sports access via swim ladder and washdown system. The 8.5-foot beam allows trailering. A ceramic deck and hull treatment and recently replaced zinc anodes round out the package. Safety equipment includes life jackets, flares, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, fenders, and lines.
