The 2024 Ranger Tugs R-27 is a 27-foot fiberglass trawler powered by twin Yamaha F300 outboards producing 309.9 horsepower. Built for coastal cruising and weekend adventures, the boat combines a compact footprint with genuine offshore capability, featuring a curved windshield and panoramic atrium that provide 360-degree visibility and abundant natural light. The helm is equipped with a full Garmin navigation package including radar, sonar, and autopilot, along with a bow thruster for precise maneuvering.

The interior layout includes a private forward stateroom, convertible dinette that sleeps two, and a midship berth for additional guest accommodations. The galley is fully equipped with a two-burner propane stove and oven, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. The enclosed head features a shower and vessel sink. Climate control, a 2000-watt inverter, lithium battery system with solar charging capability, and 30-amp shorepower round out the living spaces.

Outdoor entertaining is central to the design. The spacious cockpit includes a teak table, folding vinyl seating, a cockpit sink, and an electric grill. A double-wide bow lounge provides forward seating, while integrated sport racks accommodate kayaks, paddleboards, and bikes. The swim platform with ladder and transom door enable easy water access.
