The 2024 Ranger Z518 is an 18-foot bay boat built on a fiberglass hull with a single gasoline engine. The 8-foot beam provides a stable platform for shallow-water fishing, with an oversize casting deck and ample freeboard. The hull construction features a foam-filled core and strategically placed pultruded fiberglass reinforcement for structural rigidity.

Storage and tackle management are central to the design. Up front, twin 8-foot rod boxes flank a gelcoat-lined, insulated in-deck cooler, and a spacious starboard gear box provides additional space. The console is outfitted with a full set of gauges and accommodates electronics displays up to 12 inches, with matte black accents for styling. A recessed trolling motor pedal and SRS Soft-Ride seating round out the fishery-focused appointments.
