The 2024 Ranger Z520R is a 20.9-foot bay boat powered by a single Mercury Marine 250 hp gasoline engine. Built on a refined evolution of Ranger's legendary Z Comanche "C" hull—digitally scanned and perfected—the boat delivers improved hole shot and stronger top-end performance. The fiberglass hull measures 8 feet across the beam.
The cockpit centers on an all-new console with capacity for dual graphs or a single 16-inch display, paired with the touchscreen Ranger RIDE system for control over boat and engine functions. The helm and passenger seats ride on slides with a CloudNine air ride shock system to absorb chop. A key fob and push-button ignition provide convenient starting and security.
Storage has been substantially enlarged throughout. Rod boxes feature a tri-level shelf system accommodating rods up to 9 feet, while the redesigned stringer system supports expanded storage compartments. The battery box houses standard lithium batteries, and a wireless phone charger sits inside the coin box. All deck and cockpit elements have been revamped to complement the boat's enhanced performance.
