2024 Sabre 45 Salon Express

The Sabre 45 Salon Express is a fiberglass motor yacht combining traditional Downeast design with modern performance and control. Twin Volvo diesel engines producing 870 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. At 45 feet in length with a 14.67-foot beam, the boat is built for capable cruising and comfortable entertaining.

The interior layout centers on a bright salon flowing down two steps to a galley, with two staterooms and two full heads providing sleeping and necessary facilities. A distinctive utility space between the engine room and guest cabin is dedicated to optional systems—washer and dryer, freezer, or wine chiller—preserving storage throughout the main accommodations, which feel spacious for a boat of this size. The cockpit features a U-shaped settee, protected side decks with handholds, and a motorized shade.

The electronics package is comprehensive, with dual Garmin 9219 multifunction displays, a supplemental 7-inch display for engine instruments, FLIR thermal camera, weather station, speed and depth readout, and anchor rode chain counter. Navigation and monitoring systems include Seakeeper 6 gyroscopic stabilization with helm-mounted remote control, Starlink satellite connectivity, and a Fusion stereo with three televisions. Additional features include a Spot Zero water purification system, energy-tinted window tinting, power sunroof, and full spectrum underwater lighting.

This boat carries custom appointments throughout: teak cap rails, inlaid teak on the hydraulic swim platform, teak cockpit sole, and teak steps. Onboard amenities include an ice maker, second freezer, beverage cooler, and washer-dryer. Ground tackle consists of 200 feet of stainless steel anchor rode, and a four-person Coastal Commander life raft is included.
