The 2024 Shallow Stalker 17 LTS is a composite flats boat built for shallow-water fishing and poling work. At nearly 17 feet with a 7-foot-plus beam, it's designed for stability and easy handling in tight spaces, with a draft of 6 to 7 inches. The hull is hand-laminated from Blue Water Coosa composite, and the entire structure combines composite construction with an aluminum package that includes a leaning post, raised forward cooler holder, burn bar, and rod holders. Power comes from a single 60-horsepower Suzuki engine.
The boat carries a 40-gallon fuel tank and includes a bait well with intake pump. The center console is reinforced for sight casting, and the forward deck is set up as a casting platform. A 12-gallon freshwater supply is also installed. Equipment includes stainless steel hardware throughout, saltwater-resistant wiring, full foam flotation stringers, and a full instrumentation package with tachometer and water pressure gauges. Navigation lighting meets USCG standards.
The console features a no-feedback steering system and includes a jackplate, clear windshield with rail, push-pull switches, leaning post, rod holders, and cleats. An Igloo cooler seat is mounted forward. Fiberglass deck hatches provide access, and a smoked acrylic windshield offers visibility and protection. The standard equipment list demonstrates a boat purpose-built for flats and backcountry work.
