The 2024 Sportsman Open 262 is a center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Yamaha 200-horsepower engines with just 52 hours of operation. The boat has been stored high and dry, which has preserved both its systems and finish throughout light use.

Navigation and fish-finding are handled by dual Garmin 1243 XSV displays paired with a CHIRP transducer, supported by a Garmin VHF radio for communication. SeaKeeper Ride auto trim tabs actively adjust to improve ride quality and reduce manual steering input. Visibility is enhanced by a Razor light bar, and an upgraded stereo system with amplifiers and subwoofers provides sound that carries underway.

The open deck is laid out for efficient fishing with two macerated in-floor fish boxes, an additional macerated bow storage box, and an uncluttered layout that accommodates multiple anglers. Practical amenities include an electric head with overboard discharge, a through-hull windlass for anchoring, and a 26-foot 6-inch length with a 9-foot 4-inch beam suited to coastal and bay running.
