The 2024 SunCatcher Select 18F is an aluminum pontoon built around fishing practicality and family comfort. Its wide-body design spans 8 feet 6 inches across, supported by two jumbo 23-inch by 25-inch logs with closed-cell foam flotation. The boat runs on a single gasoline engine with Yamaha controls, gauges, and a 37-gallon fuel tank fed by a direct remote fuel system in the motor pod. It comes pre-wired for a trolling motor.
The layout centers on fishing capability. The stern features a dedicated fishing platform with an aerated livewell, rod holders for up to four rods, a measuring board, and cupholders. The port side offers a bench seat with under-seat storage and a table. Bow anglers each get molded corner storage boxes, and upright rod storage is available on both sides. Seating includes deluxe upholstered fishing chairs on pedestals, while a contoured Bimini top with aluminum frame provides shade across the length of the deck.
Standard equipment includes roto-molded furniture with rain-drain channels underneath the cushions for dry storage, floor-level courtesy lights, a premium Jensen receiver with Bluetooth and audio compatibility, navigation lights, side trim with rub rail, a full-length under-deck performance shield, and a four-step aluminum curved boarding ladder at the stern. The deck sits on heavy-duty aluminum extrusions spaced 16 inches on center and is through-bolted to the deck extrusions. A 12-volt accessory outlet and console displaying speed, engine RPM, trim, and fuel level round out the standard inventory.
