The 2024 Tiara 48 LS is a 48-foot fiberglass cruiser built for extended offshore and coastal cruising. Power comes from triple Mercury V12 600 engines producing 1,800 total horsepower, each equipped with dual stainless steel propellers and two-speed automatic transmissions. The engines are designed to run on 87-octane fuel and feature extended oil service intervals of 200 hours. All systems are accessible for service from the top of the motors while the boat remains in the slip. A three-year factory warranty covers the powerplant.
The boat accommodates four with two separate cabins: a queen island berth in the forward VIP and twin berths in the mid-cabin. A single head serves the accommodations. A 9-kilowatt diesel generator with sound shield and dedicated 30-gallon fuel tank provides independent power. Climate control includes a 24,000-BTU marine air conditioning system for the cockpit and a 10,000-BTU system for the cabin and head.
The cockpit features an electric fold-down flatscreen television mounted to the hardtop, operated by a single button. The bow includes a large rider area with an electrically actuated table that converts between dining and sun-pad positions, with storage integrated into the flush floor. A port-side balcony door folds down to extend the swim platform. The aft cockpit is equipped with Makefast electric shades.
Navigation and convenience systems include radar, GPS, autopilot, Skyhook, and VHF radio with DSC. A premium Fusion Apollo stereo system provides three-zone coverage with 12 JL Audio exterior speakers. The boat is fitted with Lenco electric trim tabs, joystick control, and a Seakeeper 6 gyro stabilization system for enhanced comfort and handling.
