The 2024 Triton 179 TrX is an 18.5-foot fiberglass bay boat powered by a single Mercury 115-horsepower four-stroke engine. Built for shallow-water fishing, it combines a responsive platform with practical storage and handling suited to small lakes and coastal waters.
The layout centers on fishing functionality. Port and starboard rod lockers and a center storage compartment provide ample tackle space, while a built-in ice chest is integrated into the front deck. The high-capacity rear livewell includes a divider and dual pump systems for water circulation and aeration. The helm features an adjustable tilt steering wheel, hydraulic Baystar steering, and extended legroom. Driver and passenger bucket seats with a console between them define the cockpit, with a removable windshield forward. A bow entry ladder and grab handles support safety and boarding.
Standard equipment includes a tournament series gauge package with tachometer, speedometer, fuel, and trim indicators; LED bow navigation lights; an automatic bilge pump; and a retractable boarding ladder. The removable stern light, stainless steel fittings, and plexiglass tinted windshield complete the essentials. A NOCO onboard battery charger and cranking batteries are fitted.
The boat rides on a custom-matched trailer with swing tongue, channel steel frame, and radial tires on 14-inch aluminum wheels. A lighted step pad and recessed LED lighting are included, along with a spare tire and custom aluminum rim. The fiberglass hull carries a lifetime limited warranty to the original owner.
