The 2024 Wellcraft 202 Fisherman is a 20-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single Yamaha 200 hp gasoline engine. The boat's design prioritizes both fishing capability and family comfort, with a tiered bow platform that enables effective casting from multiple angles while providing generous legroom for passengers.

The cockpit layout centers on practical fishing and onboard living. The helm seat flips aft to create additional lounging space, and a spacious changing room with optional head accommodates gear storage and equipment changes without compromising maneuverability. Flip-up seating for two incorporates storage beneath, and can be stowed to expand the casting deck. A removable 72-quart cooler serves for catch storage or provisioning.

The boat comes with a removable T-top that shades the cockpit and can be detached for garage storage. A single head is included in the layout.
