The 2024 World Cat 260 DC-X is a 25.5-foot fiberglass catamaran built for open-water performance and comfort. Twin Yamaha F150XSA2 outboard engines deliver 300 horsepower combined, achieving a cruising speed of 23.5 knots and a maximum speed of 34.8 knots. The boat shows only 53 hours of engine use. Joystick control with full-function autopilot and virtual anchor capability makes handling intuitive and precise.
The cockpit layout prioritizes both entertaining and fishing. A helm seat with drink box anchors the command station, while a coated bar and prep center offer social space. Forward-facing and aft-facing companion seating accommodates up to ten passengers. Storage includes a large insulated fish box on the port side and a lockable oversized compartment to starboard. A 30-gallon starboard livewell, four gunwale rod holders, and a pull-out freshwater shower wand serve fishing and watersports demands.
Below deck, a marine head with holding tank and overboard discharge serves essential needs. A 10-gallon freshwater tank supports onboard operations. Electronics include a Garmin GPSMAP 8612xsv chart plotter with depth sounder, Garmin VHF radio, Yamaha CL-5 engine data display, and Airmar depth and temperature transducer. Navigation is supported by an electric anchor windlass with 60 feet of chain and 200 feet of rode.
The package includes five PFD life jackets, throwable cushion, fire extinguishers, flare kit, dock lines, engine flush system, and safety gear bag. A swing-out Yeti cooler, aft slide-out cockpit shade, and bow canvas pole shade enhance comfort. Yamaha warranty extends through August 2029.
