2024 YYachts Y8

The YYachts Y8 is a 78-foot composite sailing yacht built in 2024, designed for refined performance and effortless operation. The hull and deck are constructed from carbon fibre with epoxy resin and Corecell foam core, creating a stiff, lightweight platform. The interior is finished in light oak with chrome detailing throughout. Power comes from a Yanmar 4LV250 diesel engine rated at 192 horsepower, with a Fischer Panda generator for onboard systems and a cruising speed of approximately 9 knots.

The yacht accommodates five cabins and five heads across its 22-foot beam. The main layout consists of four guest cabins with a separate crew cabin and dedicated crew mess, along with a practical service area aft. This arrangement supports private ownership while allowing space for occasional crew assistance without compromising guest comfort or privacy.

Sailing systems are comprehensively equipped with hydraulic controls throughout: a carbon furling V-boom by AXXON, centre hydraulic power pack, jib halyard tensioner, Code 0 system with electric furler, and GaffLock for the square-top mainsail. The sail wardrobe by Zaoli includes a furling self-tacking jib, square-top mainsail, and Code 0. A natural teak deck, telescopic hydraulic gangway, retractable mooring winch, tender garage with dinghy launching system, and hydraulic bathing platform complete the on-deck specification.

Interior systems reflect superyacht standards: air conditioning, watermaker, Miele washer-dryer, dishwasher, induction cooktop with oven and microwave, wine cooler, ice maker, and a Quooker water system. Navigation and connectivity include B&G systems with multiple Zeus displays, Nemesis cockpit displays, autopilot, radar, AIS, VHF, Starlink integration, Peplink router, and onboard WiFi infrastructure. Retractable bow and stern thrusters, inverter-charger upgrades, and comprehensive technical systems support extended cruising and independent operation.
