2024 Zeelander 5

The Zeelander 5 is a 48-foot fiberglass motor yacht built to the exacting standards of Dutch yacht construction. Designed by Cor de Rover, the boat combines refined aesthetics with purposeful functionality, powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 IPS 650 diesel engines totaling 960 horsepower. The IPS propulsion system enables intuitive joystick control for maneuvering and docking, while the Dynamic Positioning System maintains station automatically—valuable in locks and bridges. With only 200 operating hours, the yacht is essentially new and runs at exceptionally low noise levels, below 60 decibels when underway with windows closed.

The layout flows from a spacious aft deck with fixed sun and wind screening, seating for ten, and two integral tables, down to a large swim platform fitted with integrated loungers, outdoor shower, and electric passerelle. The salon spans the full beam with 360-degree sightlines, accommodates six at dining, and features underfloor heating, integrated galley with dishwasher, and a power-adjustable table that converts into a berth. Twin Garmin 19-inch touchscreen displays control comprehensive navigation electronics including HD radar, AIS, sonar, and autopilot.

Below decks, the master cabin offers a queen berth with Macassar timber and teak sole, while the guest cabin contains twin single beds. A separate shower bathroom and day head complete the accommodation. Throughout the boat, climate control via reverse-cycle air conditioning and central heating maintains comfort. Additional owner-fitted enhancements include CCTV with three screens, home automation controllable by smartphone, fresh-water wash system, floor heating, retractable stainless steel railings on the swim platform, and Pinetti furnishings.

The engine room is fully insulated and sound-dampened, with water-cooled silenced exhaust, fuel filtration, automatic fire suppression, and dry bilge management. Deck gear includes electric anchor windlass with 30-kilogram anchor and chain, freshwater wash pump, stainless steel fittings and railings, and LED lighting throughout.
