The 2024 Zodiac Open 4.8 is a 15-foot rigid inflatable built on a fiberglass hull with Hypalon tubes in light grey and black. Powered by a single 60-horsepower Mercury outboard, it reaches a maximum speed of 35 knots and cruises at 22 knots, making it capable and responsive for day boating and watersports.

The open layout centers on a console seat with cushion forward, paired with a bow seat and cushion for passengers. A rear seat with fold-up backrest provides additional seating, while tube grab ropes run the length of the boat for safety and convenience. A bow roller and cleat support ground tackle, and navigation lights are fitted for evening operation.

Onboard systems include a 12-gallon fuel tank, Mercury digital tachometer, and 12-volt and USB power outlets at the console. The boat comes equipped with a 1200-pound galvanized bunk trailer with a folding tongue, allowing the complete package to fit in a standard garage.
