The Oceanis 40.1 is a modern cruising yacht developed from the larger Oceanis 51.1, featuring a hull design by Marc Lombard that prioritises both performance and interior volume. The flared hull form with extended bow steps delivers stiffness under sail and genuine speed potential without compromise. At 42 feet in length with a 13.75-foot beam, the yacht punches above its size class.
The interior spaces were conceived by Nauta Design to maximise usable area throughout the boat. Layout options, draft variations, and rig choices are available to suit different cruising styles and performance requirements. Accommodation and deck design work together to create an experience that feels considerably larger than the yacht's actual dimensions.
Powered by a 45 hp Yammer diesel engine, the yacht achieves a cruising speed of 6 knots and a maximum speed of 9 knots under power. The deck plan is notably spacious, with thoughtful arrangements that support both sailing efficiency and everyday liveability. This is a new 2025 model built in fibreglass.
